At the LJCC, we view the youngest members of our community as crucial to its life and vitality. Their projects and learning are integrated into broader congregational life through spiels, child-friendly musical services, and participation in ritual observance.
Welcome to the Lawrence Jewish Community Congregation Religious School! We are an artistic, unique, and close knit school community that thrives on helping each other, learning together, expressing our individuality, and fostering healthy relationships.
Our focus in our Preschool is for our students to gain a sense of belonging; together and here at the LJCC. Our students read books, sing songs, play games, dance, make art, get to know each other, and spend quality time together.
In our Primary School (K-7), we embark on learning journeys that integrate Judaism, spirit, G-d, prayer, and art. We learn about Judaism by learning from stories and each other, we learn about spirit by paying attention to it, we learn prayer through song and repetition, and we learn art through meaningful creative investigations.
Students taking part in our Kulam program will experience an emphasis and study in Jewish identity; ethics and experience, building connections and community.
